Giles's Story

Giles is an experienced British television editor, creative producer, and media entrepreneur based in Bristol, UK. Active in the media industry since 1993, Giles has built a diverse portfolio editing high profile factual, entertainment, and natural history programming for major UK broadcasters ( Credits include Ray Mears' Extreme Survival, Deadly 60, The Crystal Maze, DIY SOS and Deal or No Deal. )

Alongside his extensive editing career, Giles is a highly accomplished content producer with a reputation for combining creative vision with exceptional organisational skills. His long-standing collaboration with John Miller dates back to 1995, when Giles was John’s researcher on a corporate documentary for the RAC!

He is also a skilled musician who successfully bridged the gap between television production and music composition with his own library music company, which was acquired by Sky in 2022.

A natural storyteller with a keen eye for detail, Giles thrives in fast paced production environments, guiding projects seamlessly from initial concept through to final delivery. Known for his strong communication skills, collaborative approach and ability to bring out the best in both creative teams and clients, he consistently delivers content that is engaging, effective and impactful.
